About Us

By Our Fire operates a charitable farm and outreach programs that turn land, firewood, and food into tools for public good. The organization partners with the operating companies for resources while remaining mission-driven and donor-funded.

Our Mission

By Our Fire exists to bring people together through shared warmth, food, land stewardship, and service. Using fire, farming, and fellowship as tools, we support underserved individuals, strengthen families, and create accessible community spaces that foster connection, healing, and resilience.

The nonprofit farm is a living program, not a byproduct—providing food security, education, workforce exposure, and charitable outreach while remaining financially sustainable through grants, donations, and aligned enterprise support.

Programs & Community Impact Initiatives

By Our Fire offers structured community programs designed to create meaningful impact through access, education, and shared experiences. Each initiative may be supported through grants, sponsorships, or community partnerships.

Community Firewood Access Program


Seasonal support providing firewood to households in need, helping families stay warm during colder months.
Suggested sponsorship: $250 per household

Farm-to-Community Meal Events


Hosted gatherings that bring people together around locally sourced food, connection, and service.
Suggested grant support: $5,000 per event

Youth & Workforce Farm Education Program


Hands-on agricultural education and workforce exposure for youth and emerging workers through seasonal cohorts.
Suggested grant support: $15,000 per cohort
